River Cruise

Sailing through stunning scenery and visiting beautiful cities, taking a river cruise is totally different to an ocean going voyage.

A river cruise would normally take you straight to the heart of a city, no long transfers to contend with and many of the sights within walking distance, which means more time to explore and absorb the history and atmosphere. With intensive itineraries you don’t not spend hours of days looking out at the same blue view, sailing along a river keeps you in the heart of a destination, sometimes you have the opportunity to take in 2 or 3 places in a day.

The main rivers visited include most of Europe’s main rivers along with the mighty Yangtze in China and the Russian and Ukraine waterways. As sea conditions are not an issue the time of year isn’t as important and what you want to do; how about the European Christmas markets for those unique gifts, or Spring sailing the Seine. They do however visit the further away destinations at the best times of year, so you can make the most of the visit without having to worry about the weather.
