We don’t mean sailing a yacht around the world single handed here but some types of cruise are for the more adventurous and seasoned sailor.

Firstly there is soft adventure cruising; on the ‘normal’ ships, visiting some of the more remote destinations like the Arctic Circle or smaller ships taking a more in-depth exploration of less harsh destinations like Alaska, Pacific Islands and Indian Ocean. Or even help sail a large real, working sailing ship around the Caribbean. Then there is exploration cruising, visiting places such as Antarctica and using the zodiacs for landings or the Galapagos Islands for some of most extraordinary wildlife on earth.
